TABLE OF WHEN THE VARIOUS STATUTORY RIGHTS APPLY AND TIME LIMITS FOR TRIBUNAL COMPLAINTS:

TIME LIMIT FOR COMPLAINT

 

AS SOON AS YOU START WORK:

n not to have unlawful deductions made from wages

 

 

- three months from the date of the last deduction

n not to be unfairly dismissed for health and safety, for asserting a statutory right, for pregnancy or for trade union reasons - three months from the date of dismissal
n not to be discriminated against on grounds of sex, race, transexuality or disability - three months from the act of discrimination
n "ordinary" maternity leave - three months from the notified date of return
n equal pay - while in work or within six months of leaving
n minimum wages - three months from failure to pay
n working hours, including 48 hour max - three months from failure to comply
n time off for union, workplace or safety reps’ duties or union activities
